“What is THE LUCKY LEO?”

The Lucky Leo is kind of the equation of a lot of things that I wanted to put together to create a niche all of it’s own…

It’s a space to inspire, celebrate and ponder what is means to be a a happy, healthy, confident modern woman.

“Why was THE LUCKY LEO created?”

I was sick of the constant Tennis match of hate against women, mainly caused by the society we’ve grown up in that pins us against each other.

I was sick of my beautiful girlfriends lacking confidence in themselves.

I was sick of the countless patronising, obsessive and unrealistic health blogs. I think that being healthy has a lot to do with your mental health, which I feel is ignored by most female health magazines and websites.

“Who is behind THE LUCKY LEO?” 

In the real world, people call me Lottie. I’m a 24 year old British woman.

I’ve always been in love with books and writing.
I studied English Literature and Creative Writing at university.

“Why the name THE LUCKY LEO?”

I am indeed a Leo and I really am very lucky. Plus my dad always called me “Lucky”. I think that living happily and healthily co-insides with being “lucky”, which has nothing to do with who you are or what you have. Lucky is a mindset.

“Where are you from?”

I call London home but I’m very lucky (see) that I get the chance to travel a lot. I also spend a lot of my down time at my parents house by the Essex seaside.

“What do you do for a living?” 

Modelling is my day job. I’ve had a lot of fun and met the best people ever. But my true aspiration has always been to be a full time writer. This blog began as an excuse to keep me writing, which can be difficult when it’s not your full time job. After work all I want to do is sit on the sofa and eat (glamorous I know), so this little blog pushes me to keep my mind working.
